Editor and Publisher

Jake Warde

Jake Warde founded Warde Publishers in 1994. Jake was a youth athlete and the experiences motivated an interest in exploring the benefits and pitfalls of youth sport participation. Jake pursued a career in educational publishing before founding Warde Publishers.

When considering the opportunity to publish educational materials for coaches, the publisher approached prominent sport psychologists working in the emerging field of youth sport coach / parent education. A multi-decade collaboration with Dr. Frank Smoll and Dr. Ronald Smith was the result.

When not playing senior tennis events, Jake continues to operate Warde Publishers and consults regularly on educational publishing projects.
